The Intact Lab in Hong Kong, part of Intact Financial Corporation, seeks ambitious AI/software developers to help advance data-driven insurance solutions. You will work with data scientists and engineers across HK & Canada to turn research into scalable software.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, AI or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of Python or other programming language.
• Internship or full-time experience in software development; open to early career to senior candidates.
• Knowledge of software engineering practices such as design patterns and the development lifecycle; familiarity with Git, Jira, Confluence.
• Commitment to being a great, collaborative teammate.
• Unlimited curiosity and a passion to challenge the status quo.
• Ability to tackle vaguely defined issues with creative approaches.
• Strong communication, time management and work organization skills.
• If you lack AI experience, strong motivation to learn this field.

Here's what you bring to the table:

• Frontend experience with React framework, Typescript, async handling & state management tool Experience with machine learning and scientific computing libraries such as scikit-learn, NumPy, SciPy, Tensorflow, etc. Knowledge of DevOps modern tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, ELK Knowledge of the development technologies such as MongoDB, Kafka Experience developing data and machine learning pipelines
