Job summary

China Taiping Life Insurance (Hong Kong) Company Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a student analyst to support data analysis and market studies, and to assist in preparing internal financial information for management reports. The role also covers aiding new product launches and performing system User Acceptance Tests (UAT).

You will handle ad-hoc tasks, quotations, and other duties, while developing basic insurance product knowledge and actuarial qualifications.

Qualifications

• Full time university students in Actuarial, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance or equivalent disciplines.
• Basic insurance products knowledge and in progress of acquiring actuarial professional qualification would be advantages.
• Strong analytical skill and good communication skill.
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin).
• Able to work for minimum 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Conduct various levels of data analysis and market studies.
• Assist in providing financial information to prepare internal management report.
• Support new product launch and perform system User Acceptance Test (UAT).
• Assist in handling special quotation.
• Assist in ad-hoc projects and other duties as required.
