Job summary

Fubon Life Insurance (Hong Kong) Company Limited is seeking an Actuarial Intern to join the Actuarial Department for 2027 2H. This internship offers practical exposure across product implementation, pricing support, valuation, IFRS 17 reporting, HKRBC, reinsurance administration and model development.

The successful candidate will work with experienced actuaries, gain hands-on experience with actuarial software and data analysis, and may be considered for a permanent role after graduation,

Qualifications

• Undergraduates in years 2–4 studying actuarial or related fields.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of Python, VBA or SQL is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and testing of life administration and sales illustration systems.
• Perform user acceptance testing and validate actuarial calculations.
• Support preparation of special quotations and in-force policy illustrations.
• Assist in experience studies and review of non-guaranteed elements.
• Support monthly actuarial financial reporting under IFRS 17 and HKRBC.
• Assist in reinsurance administration and related calculations.
• Contribute to valuation processes, regulatory reporting and financial deliverables.
• Participate in actuarial model updates and testing.
