Job summary

FWD Group is seeking an actuarial professional to contribute to pricing and product development across markets. You will conduct market research, perform feasibility studies, and support governance processes with detailed analyses.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Product, Actuarial, Distribution, Finance, Risk, and Operations to drive profitable growth and better customer outcomes in a dynamic life/health portfolio.

Qualifications

• At least 2-3 years of insurance actuarial experience.
• Good progress in actuarial examinations (SOA/IFoA or equivalent).
• Experience with pricing is an advantage.
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in product pricing and development activities (market research, feasibility, testing).
• Prepare actuarial analyses and documentation for product approval and governance.
• Support portfolio management and reinsurance reviews to enable product growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across product, actuarial, distribution, finance, risk, and operations.
• Provide pricing support to distribution channels, including reviews and quotations.

The Job

• Participate in product pricing and development activities, including market research, feasibility study, profit testing, user acceptable testing (UAT)

• Prepare actuarial analyses, and documentation for product approval and governance processes

• Support portfolio management activities and reinsurance reviews to facilitate product and business development

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Actuarial, Distribution, Finance, Risk, and Operations, throughout the product development lifecycle

• Provide actuarial and pricing support to distribution channels, including compensation reviews, campaign assessments, and special quotations.

• Provide support on company-wide initiatives orad-hoc projects

The Person

• At least 2-3 years of insurance experience in actuarial functions

• Good progress in professional actuarial examinations (SOA, IFoA, Actuaries Institute, or equivalent)

• Experience with product pricing is an advantage

• Strong team player with ability to collaborate across functions

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
