Job summary

HKCAAVQ, the statutory body for accreditation of academic and vocational qualifications in Hong Kong, invites applications for the position of Assistant Registrar. The appointee will participate in accreditation and assessment exercises and support quality assurance projects across education programmes.

The role requires a first degree (HKQF Level 5) or higher, ideally with HKQF Level 6+, and at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• First degree comparable to HKQF Level 5 (minimum).
• Post-graduate qualification at HKQF Level 6 or above preferred.
• At least 5 years of post-qualification relevant work experience in education, training or quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Involve in accreditation and assessment exercises in academic areas.
• Conduct projects related to quality assurance of education and training programmes.
• Liaise with institutions, government bureaux and professional bodies.
• Support development of guidelines and procedures and other internal/external activities.
• Manage databases and related information systems.
