Job summary

CMB Wing Lung Bank Limited in Hong Kong is seeking an accounting assistant to support AR and AP reconciliation and aging cleanups, with 3–6 months backlog. You will assist senior management on ad hoc tasks and help develop reconciliation logic.

The role requires a degree in accounting, English and Chinese proficiency, and familiarity with HK regulatory practices. The candidate should be able to communicate with data owners and finance teams and support daily banking accounting activities.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in accounting or related discipline.
• CPA under study or holder is an advantage.
• Minimum 1-2 years of banking accounting experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Familiar with HKMA & SFC regulations & markets practices.

Responsibilities

• Take initiative to communicate with SZIT on data extraction.
• After data extraction perform manual reconciliation and identify breaks for investigation.
• Assist seniors to communicate with Business Owner and Financial Department to work out cleanup solutions.
• Perform duties as assigned by senior.
• Assist to write reconciliation logic as user requirement.
