About the Role
As an Accountant, you will be part of the Finance Shared Service Centre, supporting financial integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency across core accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare the monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Ensure all sub-ledger accounts (e.g., city ledger, trade creditors, stock ledgers) are balanced with respective control accounts in the general ledger.
- Prepare and post month‑end and adjustment journals, review the transaction registers and arrange necessary adjustment journals.
- Review monthly bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow, advising management on bank deposits as required.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
- Maintain the fixed assets register and monitor the capital budget.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audits and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with internal control requirements as per corporate policies.
About You
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance or other relevant disciplines.
- At least 3 years of accounting experience in the Hotel / F&B / Private Club Industry, including at least 2 years at a senior accounting level.
- 1–2 years of auditing experience would be an advantage.
- Sound knowledge in Sun Accounting System and Microsoft Office.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to details, reliable, and proactive with a high level of integrity.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
