Job summary
A local employment agency is seeking a Warehouse Operative/Driver in Bristol. This role involves cleaning and storing cold room equipment, driving to event venues, and delivering catering equipment. Candidates must have a clean UK driving licence and be able to work in physically demanding conditions. This temporary role offers a competitive hourly rate of £12.50 and additional site benefits including on-site parking and kitchen facilities.

Responsibilities
- Clean cold room panels and equipment, identifying damage.
- Store cold room equipment safely.

- Drive 3.5t vehicles to install Cold Rooms.
- Deliver catering equipment into Event spaces.
- Remove Cold Rooms and return equipment to the Warehouse.
- Keep the warehouse clean and tidy.

gap personnel Bristol are operating as an employment business and currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative/Driver for our client based in Bristol, BS2. As a Warehouse Operative/ Driver, you will join a team where you will become a key and valued member providing support to key operations.
- Clean all cold room panels and equipment, identifying damage and missing parts
- Store cold room equipment and appliances safely and in the correct location
- Pick clients orders correctly and load them onto our vehicles
- Drive one of our 3.5t vehicles to events venues to install the Cold Rooms to the customers specifications
- Working with our Event Managers to deliver a wide range of catering equipment into Event spaces
- Remove Cold Rooms at the end of the customers hire and return equipment to the Warehouse
- Keep the warehouse clean and tidy
- Experience of working in a physically demanding role primarily outdoors, with a fast-paced environment
- Clean UK Driving licence
- Good communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with internal and external clients
- A strong work ethic
- Flexible approach to working hours with the ability to work longer hours, weekends, and bank holidays
- Staying away on our bigger events (these will be communicated ahead of time)
