Veterinary Surgeon (Part-Time, Fixed Term – Taunton, Somerset). Contract until May 2026.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and supportive small animal practice in Taunton on a part-time, fixed-term basis.

This welcoming clinic is home to a close-knit team of two Vets, three RVNs and two dedicated support staff, all united by their passion for delivering outstanding animal care. The practice encourages professional growth—one of their RVNs is currently completing a certificate in medical nursing, making this an ideal environment for learning and development.

With excellent facilities, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental x-ray, a fully equipped theatre, and a full Vetscan diagnostic suite (including Imagyst), the practice offers everything needed to deliver exceptional standards of care—from routine check-ups to emergency treatment.

Beyond the clinic, Taunton provides a wonderful setting to live and work. A historic market town surrounded by beautiful countryside, it offers a perfect balance of small-town charm, green spaces, and easy access to cities such as Exeter and Bristol.

• Salary up to £65,000 FTE
