The post holder would contribute to the provision of the evidence‑based treatment of children with mental health difficulties by developing and supporting systemic thinking and practice within CAMHS. They would contribute to the work of core CAMHS and lead specialist family therapy clinics across the county. They would participate in all aspects of the systemic family therapy service including provision and receipt of training and supervision as appropriate to their level of experience. The service has strong links to both Birmingham and Exeter University training courses and has trained a growing number of staff through securing HEE funding.

The post holder would need to be fully qualified in systemic family therapy with some post‑qualification experience in an NHS setting working with families, holding registration with the UKCP via the Association of Family Therapy and Systemic Practice.
