Our Facility Attendants have an important role to play in the smooth operation of the leisure centre.

As a Facility Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that customers always find the facilities meet their expectations in terms of cleanliness. You will also help with routine checks, uphold housekeeping standards, and ensure customer safety.

You will regularly interact with customers in a warm and welcoming manner. As the first point of contact for customer issues, you will have a significant responsibility to represent LeisureSK professionally and efficiently; remaining calm in difficult situations, proactively addressing issues where possible, or reporting them immediately to management.

The main responsibilities of our Facility Attendants are:

• Clean all areas of the centre according to the cleaning schedule, including gym, changing rooms, toilets, offices, sports halls, storerooms, corridors, reception areas, café, and seating areas.
• Perform cleaning duties such as wet mopping, dry mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, wiping, scrubbing, dusting, and sanitisation.
• Replenish supplies like paper towels, soap, toilet paper, bin liners, cleaning chemicals, and hand sanitiser.
• Operate machines, tools, equipment, and materials as necessary and as trained.
• Empty litter bins into appropriate containers and remove waste to the external bin area.
• Maintain a high standard of customer care, adopting a warm and welcoming attitude that encourages communication.
• Perform additional tasks as requested by management from time to time.
