Position: Level 2 or 3 EYFS Practitioner
The school are seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Practitioner to join their dedicated team in September 2024. The successful candidate will hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of our youngest pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care and education to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote the development of each child
Monitor and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records and sharing observations with colleagues and parents
Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported
Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement a broad and balanced curriculum
Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on their child's progress and well-being
Ensure compliance with all safeguarding and health and safety regulations
Requirements:
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
Previous experience working in an EYFS setting, ideally within a school or nursery environment
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
A proactive and flexible approach to work
