A regulatory body for health and social care is seeking a Director of Hospitals to lead strategic initiatives and improve policies. This role requires extensive experience in stakeholder engagement, operational leadership, and a background in health or social care. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and a future-focused mindset. The position is full-time and home-based with required travel.

Roles: We have 2 roles available; one in our Central region and one in our North region
Location: Home-based, although travel across the region and to meetings will be required
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £95,000 - £113,625 per annum

What you will bring
To be considered as our Director of Hospitals, you will need:
We particularly welcome applications from individuals with Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professions (NMAHP) backgrounds or equivalent system / clinical leadership experience, who can bring valuable insight and expertise to this role.
What you’ll be doing
As our Director of Hospitals, you will provide strategic leadership across our hospital sector work, driving improvement and shaping future policy and practice.
You will work closely with the Chief Inspector of Hospitals and co-lead regulatory activity with other Directors across the hospital sector, ensuring operational excellence and sector specialism through your teams.
