Alexander James Recruiting are currently working with a leading dealer of Material Handling equipment looking to on-board a new Field Service Engineer to service their client base across Coventry and the Midlands. Responsibilities

• Servicing a client base across Coventry and around the Midlands region with a focus on servicing forklift trucks
• Fixing and servicing other, related material handling & specialist equipment to include side-loaders and pallet trucks
• Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way when visiting customer sites
• Attending the workshop from time to time and occasionally working on call

Requirements

The company have a preference for an individual with experience within the Material Handling industry. However this isn’t essential, they would also be interested in speaking with candidates with a background in plant hire, powered access, commercial vehicles or other industries with a strong hydraulics/mechanical focus. Another option the company would consider would be a recently qualified engineer looking to get into something long term and building a career. In terms of location, you will ideally be based in Coventry or the surrounding areas.

Selling a variety of products, ranging from Still to Nissan and Hyundai, the company have been operating for over 30 years and already have a firm foothold across the whole of the UK. Due to continued expansion, they are now looking to bring on more Field Engineers to service their ever-growing client base.
