This role is within the Technology Risk management and Operations Team and reports to the Risk management and Operations Senior manager. You will be working within a dedicated team to deliver Technology and Cyber Security risk assessment and risk management processes using extensively ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management modules supporting the definition and delivery of controls across Deloitte Technology including management of a risk library, risk assessment processes and also to support other_DT teams that undertake control testing and assessments.

The Risk Management And Operations And Assurance Analyst Will
  • Support IT organizational maturity development of risk management leveraging Global and DT standards, Maturity Assessment, and Compliance activity;
  • Develop risk management elements, including automation, of test and assessment processes to increase validation of other ITRM activity e.g control testing across DT;
  • Support the Risk management and Operations Senior manager to utilise the full functionality of ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management to deliver risk management.
  • Work within and support IT Risk Management processes within a 3 Lines model.
  • Prepare reports as required for presenting results to Deloitte Technology leaders, Member Firms, and relevant stakeholders, including Global Risk Leaders, Executive and Board.
  • Lead and support risk assessment complete the remote/virtual onsite assessments with various subject matter experts.
  • Manage the completion of various risk assessment programs to support risk appetite and the identification of control enhancements in end-to-end processes, recommend remediation actions, and share insights and best practices with Deloitte Technology and (where applicable) Global Lines of Business' Technology as a proactive measure to reduce the likelihood and impact of future risk events
  • Track first line of defence (1LoD) remediation progress and how this impacts the risk levels and overall risk appetite of DT.
  • Contribute to the management of annual Top risk Assessment for DT.
  • Assist in maintaining a meaningful risk library for technology risks

Do you possess the following?:

  • Good Relationship Management Skills
  • An understanding of the principals around CMMI, COBIT, ITIL, PMI, Prince2, ISO27001
  • Risk management and global experience background.
  • A strong understanding of system development life cycles approaches and concepts (CMMI knowledge an asset)
  • IT Operations and Service Management with strong understanding of ITIL framework or MOF (ITIL certification an asset)
  • Diplomatic and persuasive with an ability to handle difficult conversations and confidently manage senior stakeholders such as CIOs and CEOs
  • Ability to influence and persuade at all levels from IT technical staff up to CIOs
  • Be able to build key relationships across the GTS function and member firm network utilising excellent relationship management skills
  • Ability to manipulate complex data
  • Goals-oriented, self-starter and able to work independently with little daily supervision
  • Adaptability to and ability to embrace a wide range of cultures
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
