Job description

Want to be part of a UK hub, in a global business that is scaling rapidly, evolving fast and radically changing the decades-old delivery universe? If so, read on, as we’re looking for a Head of Pricing to join our Finance team!

Our mission? To switch up the status quo and become the UK’s leading out-of-home business. With a fast-growing network of thousands of smart lockers, hundreds of leading retail partners and the launch of our transformative Send service, we’re bringing freedom to anyone with a parcel.

At InPost UK, we’re building an unparalleled group of talent that’s committed to help us power our mission to reshape the way parcels move, and redefine eCommerce logistics. Our team is packed full of top-notch experts in e-commerce, technology, scale-up growth, sustainability, logistics and supply chain. We’re a passionate bunch with high ambition – we collaborate, innovate, support each other, and leave egos at the door.

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced and commercially focused Head of Pricing to define and lead the pricing strategy for all InPost UK products and services, including domestic, cross-border, and Ireland propositions. This high-impact role will work directly with the Chief Revenue Officer and senior leadership to shape our commercial direction, improve margins, and unlock long-term value through data-driven pricing.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Define and lead the end-to-end pricing process for InPost UK, covering all existing and new services.
  • Partner with commercial and product teams to align pricing strategies with value propositions, customer segments, and market needs.
  • Develop dynamic pricing models based on volume tiers, customer behaviors, competitive analysis, and cost-to-serve.
  • Own pricing governance, discount frameworks, and approval processes to ensure consistency and control.
  • Collaborate with finance, marketing, operations, and sales to execute pricing strategies.
  • Create business cases for new service pricing, promotions, and market entry strategies.
  • Conduct detailed commercial analyses including price elasticity, unit economics, competitor benchmarking, and margin impact.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing pricing and analytics team to support data-informed decisions.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the UK CEO and senior stakeholders to influence strategic decisions.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and macro factors affecting logistics and parcel pricing in the UK and cross-border markets.

What we need from you:

We’re seeking individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving, and can balance immediate tasks with future planning. We value drive, curiosity, and a desire to innovate and excel.

We’d be particularly excited to hear from you if:

  • You have significant experience in senior pricing or commercial strategy roles, ideally within e-commerce logistics, courier, parcel, or last-mile delivery.
  • You can define pricing strategies that balance growth, profitability, and customer value.
  • You possess deep understanding of pricing economics, including cost allocation and tiering.
  • You have strong analytical skills with experience in Excel, SQL, or BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • You are a confident communicator with experience influencing C-level stakeholders.
  • You can collaborate effectively across commercial and finance teams.
  • You hold a degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or related fields; an MBA or professional qualifications like CIMA or CFA are advantageous.

Behavioral Traits:

  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills.
  • Resilient in a scale-up environment.
  • Passionate about innovation in logistics and delivery.
  • Collaborative and pragmatic leader.

Perks of the job:

  • Enhanced annual leave – 26 days plus options to buy additional days.
  • Vitality health care coverage.
  • Work from anywhere – 4 weeks per year.
  • Enhanced parental leave.
  • Rail loan for commuting.
  • Paid volunteering days.
  • Hybrid working model (role-dependent).
  • Bring your dog to work Fridays.

The process:

We prioritize a smooth candidate experience. After your application, we aim to respond within a few days for a brief initial chat. Successful candidates will proceed through further stages tailored to the role level.

At InPost, we celebrate diversity and strive for an inclusive environment where everyone can flourish and be themselves.
