Within a Zone team, the Zone Assistant supports the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across the estate. The role includes assisting qualified trades staff and technicians in routine tasks, statutory testing, minor repairs, and general labouring duties. This includes supporting basic work across electrical, mechanical, and building fabric systems, carrying materials and tools, and ensuring work areas are prepared and safe.
The ideal candidate for the Zone Assistant position is a dedicated and hardworking individual with a passion for hands-on work. Previous experience or qualifications in construction or maintenance is preferred, but a willingness to learn and develop new skills is also highly valued.
