Overview

A busy, welcoming family in Notting Hill, London seek a fabulous live-out, Spanish-speaking housekeeper. The family travel regularly and spend much of the year in the US or elsewhere - when not in residence, the usual schedule will be 9 or 10am-5pm, Monday through Friday, however please be open to longer hours and to being flexible around weekends when the family are in residence (approximately 8 weeks of the year). There may also be some domestic travel.

Responsibilities

The housekeeper will be responsible for all aspects of housekeeping and some property management including:

• General cleaning and tidying, to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming,
• Deep cleaning, silver cleaning, French polishing
• Laundry and ironing
• Running errands, grocery shopping, receiving deliveries and liaising with contractors/vendors
• Some cooking for the family when in residence

Requirements

• A good level of fitness - the home has 5 flights of stairs!
• Discreet, flexible and calm personality
• Positive, can-do attitude, able to work equally well as part of a team, or in sole charge
• Plenty of previous high-end housekeeping experience
• Excellent references

• Accommodation is provided in the basement of a newly-built house in Notting Hill. When the family are in residence, the space will be shared with the children's nanny.
