Astute People recruits an Offshore Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager for Avonmouth and offshore to lead health, safety and wellbeing delivery on a major project. You will drive a Zero Harm culture, support operational teams and manage audits and investigations across onshore and offshore activities.

You will oversee H&S performance through KPIs, mentor H&S personnel and maintain current knowledge of CDM regulations and industry guidance.

Formación

• Essential qualifications include NEBOSH Construction, NVQ 4/5 and IOSH membership or working towards it.
• Detailed knowledge of H&S legislation and CDM regulations.
• Experience in offshore/marine health and safety environments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage Health, Safety & Wellbeing resources across the project.
• Drive a Zero Harm culture and promote safe working practices with the project and supply chain.
• Manage inspection and audit programmes ensuring compliance with systems and legislation.
• Lead or support incident investigations and track corrective actions.
• Monitor H&S performance via KPIs and leading/lagging indicators.
• Support leadership in delivering H&S improvement plans and align stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with clients, operations, supply chain and regulators.
• Develop and coach H&S personnel for performance and improvement.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation, regulations and guidance.
