Job description
Overview

Responsibility for the planning and organisation and delivery of youth work programmes in line with the Youth Work Curriculum Statement for Wales, Extending Entitlement, The Youth Engagement and Progression Framework and The Youth Work Strategy For Wales. So that young people can participate in high quality, informal learning opportunities that support their access to the 10 entitlements and enable them to have fun and support them as they progress into training and employment and independence as they develop into adulthood. Deliver youth work provision in designated schools including the delivery of regular, good quality information sessions. Establish good working relationships with young people thus enabling effective pastoral care and the opportunity to provide information and appropriate advice and guidance. Seek, review and respond to feedback from young people to inform service development and delivery, in line with National Participation Standards.
