The Pioneer Group is seeking a Youth Worker in Birmingham to support young people at Castle Vale through after-school and holiday programmes. The role involves working 14 hours per week, with afternoons into early evening, across community settings and occasional evenings or weekends.

You will help young people achieve positive outcomes, develop new initiatives, and foster partnerships while maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries in safeguarding practices.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young people in a variety of settings.
• Excellent understanding of confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding practical application.

Responsabilités

• Deliver universal services such as youth clubs and school holiday programmes.
• Develop new initiatives to help young people participate and plan their future.
• Build local relationships and partnerships across communities.
