Job description

Psychology graduate - Mental health - Trowbridge

Are you passionate about making a real difference in children's lives? Do you have a desire to support the development and well-being of young people?

We are working with a dedicated specialist school in Trowbridge who are currently seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Psychology graduate to join their team as soon as possible on a full-time basis ASAP. The school caters to children aged 4-11 with Autism and severe learning difficulties, and its staff are committed to helping each student thrive in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Key Information - Psychology Graduate:

* Start Date: ASAP

* Pay: £85-£100 per day (dependent on experience)

* Location: Trowbridge

* Hours: Full-time, 08:30-15:00 (Term-time only)

This Psychology Graduate role is ideal for someone who:

* Brings a friendly, positive, and engaging personality

* Has a calm, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children

* Ideally has previous experience working with young people (not essential)

* Is passionate about making a meaningful impact on children's futures

* Is considering a long-term career in education, psychology, or youth work

* Holds at least a grade C/Level 4 in GCSE Maths and English

Responsibilities of a Psychology Graduate:

* Support the learning and emotional development of students in the classroom

* Provide a safe and encouraging environment to help build children's confidence

* Work closely with pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis, delivering tailored interventions

* Track student progress and provide feedback to the wider team

* Assist in managing and de-escalating any challenging behaviours in a supportive manner
