Job summary

A youth development organization in England is seeking a Youth Worker to support young people aged 10 to 19 (up to 24 with disabilities) in achieving their full potential. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for youth work, and a commitment to understanding and addressing the challenges facing young people. This permanent, part-time position offers a salary of £7,862 for 12 hours per week.

Job Role

You will be part of a team that leads an exciting program designed to support and increase life skills, wellbeing and personal development for young people aged 10 to 19 (24 if they have a disability).

You will have a passion for working with young people to support them to achieve their full potential and have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish good relationships with young people and their families.

You will have a willingness to try new things, You will need to have a strong commitment to working with young people and understand the factors affecting their lives and be someone the young people can rely on in times of stress and change.
