North Somerset Full or Part Time Primary & Secondary Schools Paid Training Provided

Are you a Youth Worker, volunteer, or someone passionate about working with young people? Would you love to bring your skills into a school setting and support young people with Special Educational Needs?

About the Role
  • Job Title: Youth Worker / Trainee Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Nailsea, Backwell, Yatton, Clevedon, Portishead
  • Start Date: October 2025
  • Contract: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 08:30-15:30)
  • Pay: 89 - 100 per day (PAYE, negotiable based on experience)
  • Age Group: KS1 - KS4

You will work alongside teachers and other professionals to support students who need academic guidance, emotional regulation, and a trusted adult in their day-to-day school life. You do not need school-based experience - just a genuine interest and passion for helping young people.

  • Being a mentor, role model and consistent presence
