A community-focused organization in England is looking for a Senior Youth Worker to implement the Fusion youth project for Adopted young people aged 7-17. This role involves planning activities, supervising staff, and ensuring best practices in safeguarding. The Senior Youth Worker plays a pivotal role in the implementation and delivery of Groundwork South's Fusion youth project, working with Adopted young people aged between 7-17 in partnership with Adopt South. We run a yearlong course of sessions, workshops and trips to various attractions across Hampshire & the Isle of Wight. The central focus for the Senior Youth Worker is to deliver outstanding services for young people, consisting of planning a Programme of activities, undertaking risk assessments, supervising sessional staff, direct face-to-face delivery with young people, and monitoring and evaluation. You will support the Project Manager with implementing and quality assuring best practice procedures relating to safeguarding, volunteer management and health and safety in order to achieve a safe environment for young people to grow and develop. This role would be ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting Adopted young people to achieve their individual potential, creating opportunities to develop socially and engage with each other through activities within the region.
