Job description

We are recruiting Youth Workers at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 2.5 – 10 hours
Contract Type: Part Time/Fixed Term until 31-08-2026
Location: Various Locations across the Borough

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Education and Youth Service Team.

We pay an attractive salary of £15.91 - £20.74 per hour and offer access to training and development opportunities.

We are recruiting enthusiastic and motivated people for our part time evening Youth Service in the North ,South Cluster and central areas of Caerphilly Borough Council.




We are looking for individuals who have a range of relevant skills, and who are passionate about supporting young people in their communities. Applicants will need to have the Level 2 qualification in Youth Work and be willing to undertake the Level 3 training as part of the Education Workforce Council requirements.



For the role, we ask that you have:

Level 2 qualification in Youth Work Practice on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales or equivalent qualifications to meet the mandatory qualification requirements of the Education Workforce Council (EWC) for Youth Worker or Youth Worker or Youth Support Worker registration.
Previous experience working with young people.
Demonstrable IT skills using a range of systems including Microsoft packages.
