Job summary

Suppleo Education is partnering with a provision in Wales to recruit a youth worker to support children up to KS5. The role involves 1:1 work and small groups for learners with ALN, including autism, ADHD and SEMH, with safeguarding duties as needed.

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with potential for permanence after the initial period. Right to work in the UK and two references are required, along with an Enhanced DBS processed via Suppleo Education.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with ALN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH) preferred.
• Availability to work full time, Monday to Friday.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Two references required.
• DBS check enhanced via Suppleo Education.

Responsibilities

• Work with children 1:1 or in small groups.
• Support learners with ALN needs across KS5.
• Assist with safeguarding and student welfare responsibilities.
• Opportunity for a permanent role after probation.

Suppleo Education are proud to be working in partnership with a fantastic provision who are actively seeking a youth worker to support children up to KS5. The role will be working with children 1:1 or small working groups with various ALN, including but not limited to Autism, ADHD, SEMH and behavioural/associated needs. The successful individual may have the opportunity of the role being made permanent if successful during the period required.

This role is full time, Monday to Friday staring ASAP.
