Youth Work Co-ordinator (Arts and Inclusion)

At Base71, we’re building something bold — a state-of-the-art Youth Zone dedicated to giving young people aged 8–19 (up to 25 for those with additional needs) access to the opportunities, support, and inspiration they deserve.
We’re looking for a dynamic, passionate, and creative Arts & Inclusion Coordinator to join our team ahead of opening. This is more than just a job — it’s your chance to lead exciting, inclusive, and impactful creative programmes that reflect the diverse talents and needs of young people across Barnsley.

Your Role:
As a Youth Work Coordinator, you’ll play a vital part in our delivery team. You’ll take the lead in designing, coordinating, and delivering a rich, engaging arts and inclusion programme across key creative areas — including arts and crafts, dance, drama, media, and music.
You’ll also:
• Lead and support a team of youth workers, volunteers, and sessional staff
• Plan and deliver a fun, safe, and inclusive weekly creative programme
• Be a role model to young people, fostering an environment where they feel confident and welcome
• Support ongoing monitoring, evaluation, and innovation in youth work practice
