New Horizon Youth Centre is seeking a dedicated Youth Worker (Women’s Worker) to join the Youth Work Team in London. You will deliver gender-informed youth services, lead a weekly Women’s and Non-Binary Space, and support young women with complex needs and safeguarding requirements.

You will work face-to-face at the day centre (London) several days a week, develop outreach partnerships, and coordinate with external agencies to expand programme options for young women aged 16–24 facing

Qualifications

Experience working with young people and/or young women in a relevant setting.
Ability to work with young people facing homelessness, to identify goals and help them find solutions.
Experience planning and facilitating engaging 1-1 and group sessions for diverse young people.
Experience managing a caseload of young people with multiple disadvantages and making referrals.
Knowledge of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) sector and pathways/referrals for women.
Experience safeguarding and working trauma-informed with young people and women.
Ability to build external partnerships to support organisational aims.

Responsabilités

Support young people accessing day centre services from registration to move-on.
Plan and deliver 1-1 and group work sessions to meet diverse needs.
Lead on gender-informed workshops for young women and run Women's / Non-Binary Space.
Maintain records, safety planning, risk assessments, and referrals for young women.
Develop external partnerships with VAWG and other services to broaden activities.
Record information accurately and contribute to monitoring and evaluation.
Attend meetings and contribute to service development and best practice.
