NHS Highland invites applications for a full-time Social Worker in Inverness within the Joint Transitions team. You will work to enable young people aged 14–25 to prepare for adulthood, balancing autonomous practice with team collaboration to meet individual needs.

Applicants should be registered with the SSSC as Social Workers and hold a qualifying degree. Knowledge of the Adults with Incapacity Act and related safeguarding legislation is essential.

Formación

• Registered with the Scottish Social Services Council as a Social Worker.
• Experience in assessing needs and planning care for young people.
• Knowledge of the Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000 and Adult Support and Protection legislation.

Responsabilidades

• Assess the needs of young people aged 14–25 and plan appropriate support.
• Liaise with families, the independent sector and support providers to arrange care.
• Work autonomously within a busy Joint Transition Team to enable young people to reach their potential.
