Youth Support Worker - Yeovil (Lufton) | £15 per hour | Full-Time Day Shifts Available - START ASAP

Key Details
  • £15 per hour (including holiday pay)
  • Full-time hours available
  • Day shifts: 08:30-15:00 or 14:30-22:00
  • Rota includes weekends and Bank Holidays
  • Free on-site parking
  • Full training provided, including: Level 3 Health & Social Care, MAPA (Managing Actual and Potential Aggression)
What you'll be doing
  • Supporting students in accessing education, therapy, and leisure activities (e.g. swimming, animal therapy, cinema)
  • Providing emotional support and promoting confidence, independence, and resilience
  • Encouraging participation in activities and acting as a positive role model
  • Helping create a safe, supportive and engaging residential environment
  • Assisting with personal care and everyday living tasks
  • Keeping student records and documentation up to date
What we're looking for
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous experience with young people or adults with additional needs (e.g. SEN school, care, supported living, youth work)
  • A calm, consistent and caring approach
  • Weekly availability to ensure continuity and stability for students
