Job description

Monarch Education will be working in close partnership with a Primary academy school in the (M23) area of Manchester. They are looking to recruit a selection of youth and behaviour support assistants, to support children in the classroom and offer educational, mental health and emotional support.

The school

The school is a friendly 2 form entry primary school with on -site provision for behaviour and SEN. Located not far from Manchester City Centre, the school is easily accessed by public transport and on-site parking is available. Staff are well trained and there is a great support structure in place for you to access.

The positions are open to all experienced individuals who have a background in youth work, sports coaching, support work or have any other experience of mentoring children and young adults. Depending on performance, the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location - Greater Manchester - M23 area
  • Position - Youth Worker and behaviour support
  • Type of work - Classroom support and Intervention groups
  • Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary to Permanent
  • Full time/part time available
  • Minimum rate of pay - £95 per day (this can be negotiated with the school)
  • Hours - 8:30 am - 3.30pm: Mon - Fri (term time only)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH MONARCH EDUCATION, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional related references that cover at least the last two years
