Kudos Support is a new and dynamic supported accommodation provider for young people aged 16+, focused on empowering them to build brighter, more independent futures. Our services are designed to support young people as they transition into adulthood, helping them develop life skills, build confidence, and achieve positive outcomes in education, employment, and wellbeing.

By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to grow with us as the organisation expands — building a secure and rewarding career while making a real difference every day.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly rate: £13.00 + £50 per sleep-in
  • Real career progression opportunities as we grow — take your next step into team leadership, training, or management
  • A supportive, inclusive team culture from day one
  • Job stability and long-term prospects in a growing organisation with ambitious goals

  • A structured rota for a healthy work-life balance

The Role:

As a Support Worker at Kudos Support, you will play an active and deeply rewarding role in supporting young people aged 16+ who may face challenges such as autism, neurodivergence, or past trauma. You will be part of their journey to independence, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to thrive in adulthood.

This is more than just a job — it is a chance to be a consistent, positive influence in a young person’s life, and to progress in a stable and growing career path.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting young people with independent living skills – cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and more
  • Encouraging positive routines and healthy relationships
  • Providing emotional support and promoting wellbeing
  • Responding calmly and confidently to challenging behaviour
  • Helping maintain a safe and supportive living environment
  • Recording observations, incidents, and progress accurately
  • Working flexibly on a 1-on-2-off rota, including overnight sleep-ins

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 1 year’s experience working with children or young people in care, schools, youth work, or support services
  • Confidence in dealing with behaviour that can be complex or challenging
  • Desirable: QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it — full support and training provided)
  • Able to demonstrate resilience, good communication, and a nurturing approach
  • Basic computer literacy (e.g. emails, logs, digital reporting)
  • Able to cook and coach young people through everyday tasks
  • Willing to attend a face-to-face interview at our offices in Telford
