Qualifications

  • Experience in youth work preferred but not essential.
  • Training including induction and level 2 Youth Work qualification required.

We are seeking both experienced and new Youth Support Workers to deliver open access youth work sessions during the evenings to young people aged 10 to 19.

Current Sessions Available Are

  • Monday 6pm to 8.30pm
  • Tuesday 6pm to 8.30pm
  • Thursday 6pm to 8.30pm
  • Friday 6pm to 8.30pm

Youth Work can be a challenging role and requires a positive and reliable person be a Youth Support Worker. If you feel this role could be for you we invite you to apply.

We Are Seeking People Who Can

  • Building positive relationships with young people aged 10 to 19
  • Work as a team member to deliver and manage positive activities during the session to young people.
  • Be able to complete training including induction and level 2 Youth Work qualification. (Please note this will include some Saturday training estimated 9 Saturdays sessions plus some evening training online and in person.
  • Be able to be responsive to change during the session and work as a team to resolve any issues.
  • Be a positive role model to young people.
