Job summary

The Cambian Group in Nottingham is seeking caring residential care workers to support children and young people in our care. You will build trusting relationships, assist with activities, and accompany young people on off-site trips, shaping a warm and supportive environment.

No prior experience is required beyond a positive attitude; full induction and DBS checks are provided. Sleep‑in shifts are part of the role, with a nightly allowance and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years.
• Availability for sleep‑in shifts.
• Full UK driving license preferable but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS check provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional and practical support to children and young people.
• Plan and run engaging activities and assist with educational pursuits.
• Attend off-site trips and supervise outings.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare written reports for meetings.
• Empower young people to participate in decision‑making about their lives.
