Cambian Group is seeking a passionate Support Worker for our children’s residential home in Kingsteignton, Devon. You’ll provide emotional support, practical guidance, and help create a safe, nurturing environment where young people can grow.

This role offers an hourly rate of £13.19–£13.81 depending on experience, with overtime at 1.25x. Full training is provided, including DBS checks and joining a multidisciplinary team to support families and promote positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required; value your character and commitment.
• Experience with children or vulnerable groups is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional support and practical guidance to children.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment in a residential setting.
• Assist with daily routines, meals, homework, and activities.
• Work with colleagues and social workers to support care plans.
• Attend events and maintain consistent boundaries.
