Cambian Group Plc is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for a Children’s Residential Care – CSE Service in Exeter. The role offers an hourly rate of £13.19 to £13.81, with overtime at 1.25x. You’ll join a team focused on providing a safe, nurturing environment to help children grow and develop.

The job involves supporting daily routines, school preparation, meals, homework, and engaging activities while maintaining clear boundaries and care documentation. Training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional support and practical guidance to children in residential care.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment and act as a positive role model.
• Assist with daily routines: school/appointments, meals, homework, routines.
• Organise activities and supportive sessions to promote development and independence.
• Work with multidisciplinary colleagues to support each child’s needs.
