Job summary

Regen:FX Youth Trust is recruiting a Youth Navigator to join The GIVIT Youth Recovery Service. This role focuses on intensive, relationship-based support for young people aged 13–25 affected by their own alcohol and substance use.

You will build trusted relationships, manage a caseload and help young people overcome barriers to recovery. You will engage in cross-team collaboration, risk assessments and Personal Recovery Plans, delivering harm reduction and motivational support while maintaining

Qualifications

• Experience with youth work and trauma-informed practice preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and IT competence.
• A confident and reflective practitioner who can learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and group-based support to young people aged 13–25.
• Build therapeutic, trust-based relationships with service users.
• Manage a small but complex caseload and develop Recovery Plans.
• Deliver harm reduction, brief interventions and motivational support.
• Collaborate with young people to pursue education, employment and health goals.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings and CPD.
