Job summary

Hartlepool Borough Council is seeking a dedicated Outreach and Engagement Officer to work across Community Hubs, delivering activities for young people and families.

You will build strong relationships with schools, partner organisations and volunteers to promote inclusive services, support the Summer Reading Challenge, and help run Hartlepool Holiday Fun in collaboration with the library and FabLab. 34 hours per week, fixed-term for 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Support Outreach and Engagement team to deliver activities for young people and families.
• Engage with service users, local groups, schools, agencies and partners to promote inclusive offers.
• Collaborate with Hub services, including the library and FabLab, to deliver a strong community offer.
• Work 34 hours per week on a fixed-term basis for 12 months.
