Job summary

Barnardo's is recruiting a fixed-term, full-time CSE practitioner (Project Worker 2) for the SOLAH Metropolitan Police service. The pilot serves north‑east London from 1 November 2026 to 31 March 2027, with potential extension. The post involves direct engagement with children and families to address internet safety and safeguarding concerns.

Travel across the area is required; evidence of meeting criteria must be provided in the application. Location: Locality working and office base.

Qualifications

• Experience of direct work with children, young people and families.
• Relevant qualifications and experience in work around online safety/ relationships/child sexual abuse/exploitation.
• Experience of applying safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures and promoting the welfare of children.
• Able to travel across the area to meet with children, young people and their families.
