Value Education are recruiting for a Young Offender Behaviour Mentor to support young people aged 11–17 in Pupil Referral units and SEND settings across Manchester and Salford. You will help disengaged students access education and work to rebuild engagement after trauma.

The role involves classroom and social-emotional development support within school settings, with hours 8:30am-3:00pm, Monday to Friday. Immediate start available, with potential for a permanent position after a qualifying

Formación

• Be resilient.
• Be able to demonstrate empathy.
• Have an in date Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one.
• Full UK driving licence (Desirable)
• Have a passion to change young people's lives for the better.
• Have an understanding of Social, Emotional and Mental Health Issues.

Responsabilidades

• Support young people to access education in Pupil Referral units and SEMH settings across Manchester and Salford.
• Provide guidance and support in the classroom and with social and emotional development.
• Work hours 8:30am - 3:00pm, Monday to Friday, with potential for permanent position after qualifying period.
