Overview

Youth Mentor - PRU in Lambeth - £90-£120 a day - Starting ASAP - Full Time

Youth Mentor required in Lambeth. Youth Mentor required ASAP. You will be a Youth Mentor with strong behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities
  • Connect with disadvantaged or vulnerable youth and build strong rapport with students.
  • Support young people with challenging behaviours and mental health problems, potentially outside a classroom environment.
  • Work in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) setting with students aged 11-19 who have been excluded from mainstream education.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Strong behaviour management skills.
  • Experience or training in physical intervention is desirable, as aspects of the role can be challenging.
  • Confident, resilient, and maintains a positive attitude to have a positive impact on students.
