A supportive educational organization in England is looking for a Youth Mental Health Support Worker to assist children with Special Education Needs in various schools. The position is full-time, with a pay range of £90-£112 per day based on experience. Overview

Do you have experience supporting individuals that have various Special Education Needs (SEN)?

Role and responsibilities

In recent years there has been a focus on supporting the mental health and SEN needs of pupils in SEN schools. We are seeking practitioners to support these pupils on a 1:1 or general classroom basis to start ASAP, for the rest of the Academic Year in a range of schools across Luton with an option to progress onto a contract with the right school. As a Youth Mental Health Support Worker, you will be involved in not only supporting pupils within the classroom but also running activities with the pupil/s outside the classroom. Alongside the class teacher, you will also provide support with ensuring the right support is in place for the students.

This position is on a full-time basis and full support and guidance will be given. There will also be opportunities to complete additional training whilst in the role.

Contract details

Pay is £90-£112 per day, based on experience.

This would be a great opportunity for someone that has experience supporting pupils in school or an alternative setting, but we will also be considering people without this experience.
