Youth Justice Social Worker, Gloucestershire

Pay rate: £35 per hour

Contract role, Youth Justice Team

Pertemps is recruiting for an experienced Youth Justice Social Worker in Gloucestershire.

Ideally, you will have:

1. At least 2 years practice experience working with vulnerable children and young people, preferably within a youth justice setting.
2. Knowledge and understanding of the youth justice system and the complex issues affecting children and young people within it.
3. Recent experience managing a caseload of children and young people, undertaking assessments of risk and need, developing plans, and delivering interventions that effect positive change and manage risk.
4. Knowledge and experience managing out of court disposals and statutory court orders.
5. Excellent skills in preparing and delivering verbal and written reports, with experience of working in court preferred.

This is a qualified Social Work role. You will need to hold a full driving licence and be willing to drive as part of the role.
