Job summary

Youth Justice Assistant opportunity based at Apex House, Upper George Street, Luton. 37 hours per week, permanent contract, with a salary of £37,563 to £40,444 plus £963 essential car user allowance (subject to criteria).

This role does not attract sponsorship. You will work with children, young people and families across early intervention, prevention and youth justice services, including assessments, tailored intervention plans, and monitoring progress to reduce offending and risk.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with adolescents, paid or voluntary.
• Experience supporting young people involved in youth justice or related setting desirable.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Work with children, young people and families across early intervention, prevention and youth justice services.
• Undertake assessments and develop tailored intervention plans.
• Monitor progress to reduce offending, re-offending and risk of harm.
