Peterborough City Council is seeking a qualified professional to join the Youth Justice Team. The role involves working with children with complex needs and harmful sexual behaviour, delivering interventions, and advising Children's Social Care practitioners and schools.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field (Social Work, Probation, Nursing or Psychology).
• Experience delivering interventions to children with complex needs including harmful sexual behaviour.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Work with children where sexualised behaviours are a concern within Youth Justice.
• Provide expert training and consultation to Children's Social Care practitioners and schools.
• Apply Child First and trauma-informed approaches to reduce offending and re-offending.
• Collaborate with the wider children's network to improve safeguarding practices.
