Milton Keynes City Council is recruiting a Youth Justice Information Analyst to turn information into meaningful insight and support decision-making across the Youth Justice Service. Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or an equivalent qualification, or significant administrative and data analysis experience.
• Knowledge of Youth Justice legislation and an understanding of data reporting requirements within a Youth Justice environment.
• Experience of gathering, analysing and interpreting data, with the ability to identify trends and produce meaningful information.
• The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of audiences, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience of dealing with sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and service demands.
• The ability to work independently, use initiative and contribute positively to service development and improvement.
• Highly developed information technology skills, including Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn specialist systems quickly.
• The ability to produce clear, concise and accurate reports supported by analysis and evidence.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive business and administrative support to the Youth Justice Service, including coordinating meetings, managing diaries, arranging venues and supporting partnership activity.
• Lead on the collection, validation, analysis and reporting of Youth Justice data, ensuring information is accurate, compliant and submitted within statutory deadlines.
• Maintain and develop Youth Justice information systems, support colleagues in their use, resolve system issues and coordinate system updates and improvements.
• Analyse and interpret data to support performance management, service planning, the Youth Justice Plan and wider service improvement initiatives.
• Respond to requests for statistical information, support business cases and projects, and manage financial administration processes in line with council procedures.
• Act as a professional first point of contact for stakeholders and coordinate the Appropriate Adult Scheme, including volunteer recruitment, rota management and ongoing support.
