Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 3 Health Care Support Worker for the Eating Difficulties Service of CAMHS South Team West. You will support young people through physical health assessments, monitor wellbeing and communicate changes to senior staff.

The role works across two sites with occasional community travel and will be part of a specialist multidisciplinary team. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualificações

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is required.

Responsabilidades

• Support young people during physical health assessment appointments, keeping them therapeutic and supportive, with clear communication to the young person and their family
• Give clear instructions for the tasks to be completed during appointments
• Observe, monitor and report changes in presentation or behaviour to senior staff
• Provide advice and guidance that promotes healthy activities and lifestyle choices
• Contribute to planning and delivering planned physical health observations
• Help create a therapeutic and safe environment
• Take part in Trust audits and surveys and collect information for clinical audits in own work area
• Implement agreed action plans and practice development initiatives as part of the team

Formação académica
