Youth Engagement Officer

Location: Newport and Torfaen (Cwmbran, Pontypool, and Blaenavon)

Salary: £24,700 - £26,700 per annum

Brook Street is excited to be hiring a Youth Engagement Officer to establish relationships with various organisations to attract new learners to the JGW+ program. Our client is a Platinum Award Winner in "Investing in People".

About the role:

As Youth Engagement Officer, you will identify, engage, and recruit new learners to the JGW+ programme. You will use sales, business development, and marketing techniques such as business generation, sales calls, external networking events, digital activities, and community engagement.

You will liaise with third-party organisations, partnership companies, charities, voluntary and educational networks to build effective relationships with local schools and community venues, attracting new learners and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships.

You will also arrange and attend promotional events to raise the profile of the organisation and attract new learners.
