Youth Workers will help create safe, welcoming spaces, listen to young people, and involve them in shaping activities to meet diverse needs. Development support for Level 3 Youth Work qualifications is available.

• Level 3 Youth Work qualification is required or supported for development, as stated in the posting.
• Strong communication and listening skills to engage with diverse young people.

Responsibilities

• Centre-Based Youth Workers will be based within Youth Zones, delivering engaging and varied programmes of activities and informal education.
• Detached Youth Workers will take youth work into local communities, building trusted relationships and providing support, information and guidance.
• Work with young people from diverse backgrounds and involve them in shaping activities to ensure relevance and inclusivity.
